This is one of the most popular and basic makeup product. There are a wide variety of colours to choose from. Depending on the look the client is going for, common lipstick finishes are:
- Matte Finish – Just like the other matte products, a matte lipstick appears smooth with no shine
- Creamy Finish – This adds more shine to the lips. However, it can bleed into the lines around the lips, so it should be used along with a lip liner
- Satin Finish – This adds a subtle natural shine to the lips
- Amplified Finish – This is a highly pigmented and bold finish. It is smooth on the lips but not as dry as matte.
