Personal Hygiene Copy

Being a therapist, it is mandatory to maintain personal hygiene so that the client gets a professional image on seeing your appearance.

Following personal hygiene standards must be adapted by therapist in general:

  • Take a bath/shower daily

  • Wear a cleaned, pressed and perfumed uniform

  • Avoid eating any food or having a drink that smells strong and produce an unfavourable odour for the client during the treatment. Brush your teeth and keep them clean

  • Keep hair tied and secured

  • Cut nails and keep them clean

  • Use a plaster to cover any bruises or cuts on hands

  • Do not attend work or deal with clients when suffering from any infectious disease such as impetigo

  • Avoid wearing jewellery while conducting the treatment

  • Use antiperspirants and deodorants so that you smell pleasant
